Top 5 Things to Create Using Sonic 3 Coloring Pages
Youngsters often hurry to complete a project their parents or teachers task them with. When I noticed that my son was waiting eagerly for new ideas to implement, I suggested we use Sonic 3 coloring pages to produce fun items.
Tabletop Lanterns
Many children enjoy listening to bedtime stories and struggle to fall asleep unless a lantern is in their room. If you don’t have one yet, you can quickly create it by yourself. Cut out the figures from completed Sonic 3 coloring pages and design a lovely ornament for the table piece you want to make. Find a budget lantern in a local store or order it online. Cover the cutouts with acrylic spray to make them durable. Glue the figures to each side of the accessory to create a nice composition.
Put a tea light inside to ensure safety. You can put the item in the kids’ bedroom, hang it from the porch, or use it in any room of your house. It will make every space look cozy.
Custom Coasters
If you are preparing for a themed party and want to entertain your guests by adding fun accessories, use cut-outs from Sonic 3 coloring pages to make fun coasters. You can decorate the old coasters you have and give them a whole new look. Alternatively, use a corkboard or cardboard and cut out new pieces for your project.
Have your kids color the figures from the illustrations and find some craft glue to attach the pics to the surface. They can draw any extra elements they want to add. Give them the freedom to choose the layout and create the design they will be proud of. When the coaster dries out completely, use several layers of acrylic spray to seal the surface. It will allow you to put hot tea cups on the coasters without worrying about the potential damage. Such pieces will serve you for a long time if you clean them carefully after each use.
Custom Bookmarks
My son loves reading. So, I suggested we turn the pictures from Sonic 3 coloring pages into simple, DIY bookmarks. We cut out small figures of the hedgehog and his friends and glued them to rectangular-shaped pieces of cardboard. I decided to laminate the items we created with glassine to ensure they last longer. We spent 20 minutes on this project and still had some free time. So, we punched a hole at the top of each bookmark and attached tiny ribbons to them.
When we first used a bookmark we created the evening before, we discovered that it was hardly visible when the book was closed. The next day, I printed another illustration in a smaller size. We attached the cutout to the end of the bookmark using a string so that it can dangle outside.
DIY Clock
In many Sonic 3 coloring pages, you will see the main protagonist running. We decided to create a freehand drawing of a clock face on a large poster board we had at home. My son decorated it with various elements. Then, we prepared 12 small cutouts from the completed illustrations and wrote 12 numbers on the dial. We attached the pics around the circumference and used colored craft sticks to create the hands.
This project will appeal to parents who want to teach youngsters how to read an analog clock. It might seem like an unnecessary skill to master when we have smartphones, but it will help youngsters to become more confident in traditional surroundings. Teach them how to interpret the hands’ positions on the clock face. Explain that each number stands for an hour, and show what makes the hour hand different. Then, demonstrate how to read the minute hand.
Home Theater
Find a piece of cardboard and bend it in half to make the floor and the wall of your theater. Glue some cotton balls along the fold. Then, cut out paper figures from Sonic 3 coloring pages and glue them to the cotton balls. It will give your theater a 3D feel. Youngsters can also add other pics to the scene to recreate a story about the adventures of the brave hedgehog. You may also glue the figures to wooden sticks instead of gluing them to the floor. Kids will be able to move them to change their positions when the story unfolds.
